The School of Law is located on the Mile End Campus, about 15 minutes from the city centre, where you will discover various legal landmarks, including the Royal Courts of Justice.

The main library on the Mile End campus has vast holdings of British publications and also materials from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, continental Europe and other parts of the world. Undergraduate law students have access to all of that. 

The School of Law has a dedicated library that ensures that the most recent journals and textbooks are available, and will make every effort to obtain those that aren't. During the exam period, the library is open and operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will also have access to the University of London Library at Senate House as a Queen Mary student.

Undergraduate law students benefit from the Laws Building's flexible teaching and learning environment, which includes a variety of lecture theatres and small seminar rooms for group study. It’s also home to The Legal Advice Centre, an award-winning, community-focused legal clinic conducted on a volunteer basis by Queen Mary School of Law students under the supervision of trained barristers and lawyers. 

The campus also has computer labs and sports facilities.

The school offers a range of affordable accommodation on or near our campuses in Mile End, Whitechapel, and Charterhouse Square. 

Undergraduate accommodation: the School of Law offers a variety of accommodation options, including rooms with ensuite bathrooms. These include almost 2,250 rooms in self-catering halls of residence on or near the Mile End campus, 360 rooms for Medicine and Dentistry students, in Whitechapel and the City of London, 26 rooms adapted for students with mobility impairments (12 specifically for wheelchair users and 18 rooms adapted for deaf or hard-of-hearing students.  

Postgraduate accommodation: Aspire Point is a new building in Stratford that provides 445 postgraduate students with affordable living and study space. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and London are seen from this iconic student accommodation. The Mile End campus is only a short (20 minute) bus ride away. 

King’s College London and University College London are just 6-minutes away from Queen Mary School of Law, City, University of London is 11-minutes away, and London South Bank University is 15-minutes away.
