The university has four main faculties, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences,
Business and Law, Health, Education, Medicine and Social Care, and Science and Engineering. The Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine & Social Care is the main provider of health, social care and education courses in the East of England. Additionally, the faculty is responsible for training the doctors in the first School of Medicine in Essex. The faculty has main four schools. These schools are the School of Allied Health, the School of Education and Social Care, the School of Medicine, and theSchool of Nursing and Midwifery. As for the Faculty of Business and Law, it has two main schools. These schools are the School of Economics, Finance and Law and the School of Management. In addition, the Faculty of Science and Engineering has three schools, the School of Computing and Information Science, the School of Engineering and the Built Environment, and the School of Life Sciences.
The university’s library offer multiple services, including borrowing, viewing past examination, and more. As for the science and engineering facilities, there are plenty. A new modern Science Centre, psychology labs, and advanced engineering and manufacturing workshops are all available in the university. Also, there are some outstanding facilities in the Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine and Social Care. The university invests in nursing and healthcare facilities. Serving the scientific field, there are a SuperLab complex, science labs, a physiology lab, and a pharmaceutical research lab.
