How can I pay the initial charges?

The admission fee can be paid by card. All other initial payments, including the first rent payment and the deposit, must be paid via bank transfer.

When must the booking and initial payments be completed?

The booking must be concluded, and the admission fee must be paid within 5 days. The deposit must be transferred at least 14 days before the start of the rental period.

How are monthly rent payments collected?

Monthly rent payments are collected via SEPA direct debit.

When are monthly rent payments collected?

Monthly rent payments are collected on the 1st of each month from a European bank account via SEPA direct debit.

How is a booking cancelled before confirmation?

If an accommodation agreement has not been signed and funds have not been transferred, a cancellation request can be submitted using the online contact form.

Is cancellation possible after signing the agreement and transferring funds?

No. Once the agreement is signed and payment is processed, standard cancellation is no longer permitted, and the lease must be formally terminated according to contract terms.

How can a lease be terminated early by finding a replacement tenant?

A tenant can end their agreement by providing a four-week notice period effective at the end of a calendar month, provided they assign a qualified replacement candidate.

What qualifications must a replacement tenant meet?

The replacement candidate must fit the following criteria:

• Commit to either standard booking periods or the remaining duration of the active contract.

• Be an active student, intern, trainee, or employed worker.

• Share the same gender as the existing occupant if the unit is a shared studio.

Which documents are required to transfer a contract to a new tenant?

The outgoing tenant must submit the completed replacement form via the contact form, along with the candidate's government ID, proof of status (education or employment), and a valid visa if applicable.

When is written confirmation of contract termination provided?

Standard termination notices are confirmed via email within one to two business days. For terminations relying on a replacement tenant, confirmation is sent once the new tenant's statutory withdrawal period expires.
