What is included in the payment plan for Yugo Dubailand?
To secure a room, students are required to pay a security deposit of AED 2,500, which typically includes a refundable deposit (AED 2,200) and a non-refundable admin fee (AED 300).
When do I need to pay the first instalment of rent?
The first instalment (usually two months’ rent) must be paid before arrival / check-in.
When are the remaining rent payments due?
After arrival, future rent instalments are usually due monthly and must be paid by the 8th of each month, depending on your tenancy agreement.
Can I pay my rent in instalments?
Yes. Students can choose a monthly instalment payment plan, depending on their contract type. Long-term contracts may also qualify for discounts when paying in full upfront.
How can I pay my rent?
Rent can be paid using several methods, including:
- Bank transfer
- Credit or debit card
- Online payment
- Cash or local cheque (where applicable)
Can I change my payment instalment plan?
Yes. You can request a change to your payment plan, but it is subject to management approval and review on a case-by-case basis.
What happens if I don’t pay my rent on time?
Late payments may result in a penalty fee (e.g. AED 500). Continued non-payment may lead to deductions from the security deposit, eviction, or legal action as per the contract.
What is the security deposit used for?
The security deposit is refundable and used to cover:
- Damage to the property (beyond normal wear and tear)
- Outstanding rent or fees at check-out
Can I get a discount if I pay in full?
Yes. Some long-term contracts may offer up to 5% discount for full payment, but this may not apply if other promotional discounts are active.
Do I need to pay anything before signing or booking?
Yes. Once the booking or contract is signed, payment obligations apply immediately, including deposit and initial rent instalment requirements.
Cancellation Policy
Can I cancel my booking at Yugo Dubailand?
Yes. Cancellation is possible, but charges depend on your booking length and whether it is before or after check-in. All cancellations are subject to the tenancy contract terms once accepted.
What happens if I cancel a booking of 59 days or less?
For bookings of 59 days or less, any cancellation (before or after check-in) will incur full charges. No refund will be issued.
What is the cancellation policy for bookings between 60–89 days before check-in?
If you cancel before check-in, the security deposit and AED 1,000 admin fee are non-refundable. Any instalments paid may be refunded after review and submission of valid cancellation documents.
What happens if I cancel a 60–89 day booking after check-in?
Post check-in cancellation will incur a penalty equal to one month’s rent from the cancellation date. The security deposit and AED 1,000 admin fee are also non-refundable.
What is the cancellation policy for bookings of 90 days or more?
For pre check-in cancellations, the security deposit and AED 2,500 admin fee are non-refundable. Instalments may be refunded after review and valid supporting documents. Post check-in cancellations incur a one-month rent penalty plus loss of deposit and AED 2,500 admin fee.
Are any refunds possible after cancellation?
Refunds may apply only to instalment payments and are subject to review and approval, provided valid supporting documents are submitted. Deposits and admin fees are generally non-refundable.
What happens if I breach the residence rules or fail to pay rent?
The management may terminate your contract in cases of breach or non-payment. All payments, including deposit and admin fee, are non-refundable.
Will I be notified if my contract is terminated?
Yes. Management will issue a formal notice, including reasons for termination, and inform both the tenant’s guardian/sponsor and relevant parties, such as the university, if applicable.
Can I request a cancellation without penalty in special cases?
Yes. In emergencies or exceptional circumstances, you can request a special review. Each case is assessed individually by management.
